Questions and answers of the customers

  1. A it may mark it as "biking" but it will be tracked
  2. A You can cancel the renewal of the premium subscription. When you agree to the free trial it says that fitbit will send an email a week before it renews. It also has you choose between 2 renewal options- 1 year or 1 month. Personally, I chose the 1 month option in case I miss the email (so it will only cost me $10 if I screw up).
  3. A On Amazon, just search
  4. A See if you can get it free through your health insurance plan. If he is on Medicare, you can. Mine arrived yesterday. It is "not" user friendly for seniors or anyone who gets more agitated by things "vibrating" against their pulse point. Has a green strobe light that concerns me for use by epileptics or brain injury survivors... if someone might have potential to become epileptic / have seizures, I am concerned wearing this could bring one on. Font size is tiny and hard to read. Doesn't respond well to double tap or squeezing sides to get to features; sometimes works and often doesn't.
  5. A I use a 2016 SE iphone. Set up from the app, not the phone. Instructions sent with FITBIT were incomplete. First couldn't get it to blue tooth pair. Support told me to make sure I had the latest update iphone software then go through app to set up new device. How badly do you think you need this? Mine came yesterday. After about three hours messing with set up, and finding features aren't user friendly, plus vibrations are annoying and green strobe light makes me more nervous, not less... I am glad I got this free from insurance so I can throw it away!
  6. A Yes it will. I walk in a pool for 40 minutes. I also noticed when on my wrist in the pool, it doesn't get all my steps (maybe 1/3) do i put it on a ponytail holder and slip it on my ankle!
  7. A I don't think so accurately because it's monitoring your heart rate, along with respiration last at times; It could be if you just don't want to lose it briefly
  8. A Not exactly plus you need to spend $9.99 per month for all those services after a year.
  9. A you will have to pay for premium, if you get a one year free offer.
  10. A I don’t think so. But that is a question for fitbit to answer
  11. A No, it does not monitor blood pressure. It does monitor heart rate though.
  12. A It was too wide for me , I wouldnt call the band slim
  13. A Go to settings in the app. You may have inadvertently turned those options off or on
  14. A Cuando lo configuras con la aplicación del celular se actualiza automáticamente
  15. A Yes, it syncs your steps and weight. I don't think you can sync your food logging though.
  16. A Yes they do I'm looking into getting one
  17. A It restarts after the time is out... I did the same thing.. it would have gotten here tomorrow... Now it's getting here on Friday
  18. A It tracks how much you drink
  19. A Absolutely worth the money!
  20. A I bought it for my mom she said it does heart rate but you can pay for different services just not sure if blood pressure is one of those
  21. A No, does not measure blood pressure
  22. A I'm pretty sure it will. Because when I'm doing yard work like for example digging a hole to fix a broken irrigation pipe even if I barely move from one spot it tracks my arm movements and heart rate and thinks it's steps
  23. A When it is connected properly it will show the current percentage of charge on the outline of a battery.
  24. A The WW app says all Fitbits will. I ordered this Fitbit specifically to use with the WW app, so I hope so!
  25. A I am not sure the Inspire 2 tracks oxygen sat data. But I know there are other Fitbit devices that do.
  26. A I think you have to be more specific about which version of android you have. For example, my phone has android 10. I just purchased the fitbit because their website said it's compatable with 7.0 and higher. I'll let you know if I have problems, but if you're phone's operating system is below 6, like lollypop, jelly bean, or kitkat then it won't work. To find out which version you have, on your phone go to settings, then "about" then tap android to see which version of operating system you have. It's like how Windows was Windows 98, then Windows 2000, then Windows 7, 8, and 10.... android also has different versions of their operating system.
  27. A I still can’t get mine to sync with iPhone.
  28. A I found it very easy. And I'm a senior citizen.
  29. A Si lo debes tener sincronizado, pero no es necesario cargar el celular encima de uno. Pero para el registro si luego no lo muestra debes volverlo a sincronizar para que ya quede en la app los datos. La verdad es muy buen reloj.
  30. A yes, Inspire 2 is the same size as Inspire 1.
  31. A I have a latex allergy and I can wear mine with no problems . (3weeks)
  32. A I know it can be connected to the Fitbit app you can use on your android phone, and assuming so on tablet. I have Samsung phone and follow my stats all day on the app. I also have fitbit app connected to Virgin fitness app as well.
  33. A Yes. It has a setting for wrist or clip. Although, it didn’t do a great job of tracking pulse.
  34. A It has the USB cable with the special end that attaches to the back of the watch. Standard USB A male adapter.
  35. A I do, so it will not run down the phone battery. I check the info a couple of times a day and turn it on for that.
  36. A You can wear it on left or right hand. When on the left hand, go to device settings and choose “non-dominant” and right hand, choose “dominant”
  37. A One offs for sure. This doesn’t buzz the only time it does is when you pass your step goal for the day. I think other people connected too many of their a phone notifications to the watch and that’s why it would buzz a lot for them. I would recommend and buy again for sure. Great battery life and not annoying to wear
  38. A It does not come with a dongle. It comes with a charger and 2 wristbands.
  39. A If you have synced with your account, your data should be fine.. I had to return a previous fitbit due to battery issues, and my data was fine. Once it's in the account, it's not tracker dependent.
  40. A My last Fitbit was an Alta HR. I really do like my new Inspire 2. Sorry I can’t help you with a comparison.
  41. A Water resistant to 50 meters. After getting the band wet, we recommend drying the band because, as with any wearable device, it's best for your skin if the band is clean and dry.
  44. A I have not needed to return.
  45. A iPhone 6, and everything else up until gen 11, is compatible with all Fitbit devices. Inspire 2 included.
  46. A Oh sure! You don't need the phone with you. I use the phone to see the total picture. It just gives all the info in one place. =)
  47. A Inspire fits more comfortably and can interchange bands.
  48. A There are 2 "original inspire"... the true original and the inspire hr... as noted by the hr... the inspire hr does track heart rate... whereas the TRUE original does not track it.
  49. A No. If you want to sync with your smartphone you would need Bluetooth capability. Otherwise it can stand alone.
  50. A There don’t seem to be any stand chargers for the Inspire 2. My sister has the Inspire and I have the Inspire 2 and they both seem to do the same things.
  51. A Its a very slim device and is easier to wear than the large smart watch. I dont think its the same size as the Alta though. I believe its smaller.
  52. A Not quite 1/2"
  53. A Call customer service
  54. A This is a complicated answer but in theory yes, the iPad can be used with the Fitbit app. You’d have to go into the AppStore and change form using an iPad only in the store to an iPhone allowed (basically change the filter for search results). Since the Fitbit app is mainly used for smartphones both Android and iPhone, you may find it harder to sync and get the full experience out of the app but you could use it. If you need more help with this search on the Fitbit Q&A!
  55. A Unfortunately to my knowledge I believe that none of the Fitbits have this ability to notify you when you reach a specific heart rate. You can easily view your heart rate within the app or on the actual Fitbit in real time. But besides that, you can set custom zones at which you’d like to exercise within but I don’t know if your Fitbit can alert you if you reach or pass that zone.
  56. A No you don’t have to but you miss out on function if you don’t. And if you wanna change the clock face you have to do that on the app which you need to download on your phone. You can view reports on your phone. You can get detailed sleep data on your phone. It’s just better if you sync with your phone.
  57. A Probably to utilize all of the features
